Wrapping Text in a table
I created a table with 3 columns and many rows. When I type in the cell the
right margin of the table goes off to the right and off the screen. How can I set the wrapping so it doesn't go off the page? I tried TableTable PropertiesTableAround and it does nothing. Thank you in advance for your help. joe |

Wrapping Text in a table
Several things to try:
1. On the Table tab of Table Properties, click Options... and clear the check box for "Automatically resize to fit contents." 2. On the same tab, set the table width to 100% (though this won't stop it from growing if you increase the size of one column). Choose "None" for the wrapping; you don't want Around, which makes the table "float," with text wrapped around it; it doesn't have anything to do with text wrapping in it. 3. Make sure that "Wrap text" is checked in the Cell Options (Table Properties | Cell | Options...). -- Suzanne S.
