MS Office 2K Install on WinXP
Does MS Office 2K have 50 trial usages before you have to register the
product? I just did a clean install of WinXP with SP1a, and MS Office 2K Professional upgrade. On the install of Off2k all I did was put the install disk of my prior version in the drive for athentication. It has been a long time since I've done this installation, but my memory tells me that there were 50 trials before registration was required. Since the actual usages does NOT coincide with my memory I thought I'd ask. TIA! Regards, Greg Strong |

MS Office 2K Install on WinXP
Hi,
No, the 50-use trial is with Office2002 (XP) and 2003. Office 2000 does not have activation (but the service packs for it are another matter). -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers aka "Nutcase" MS-MVP - Windows Windows isn't rocket science!
