Default Outlook 2003 laptop user cannot share calendar...

Good Day all.

I have a laptop user who is using Outlook 2003.
She would like to share her calendar, but when she clicks
on the link, a message appears telling the user that it
is unable to share the calendar.
Another message has appeared stated that the Exchange
server is unavailable, but she is still connected to the
company network, and receiving/ sending mail, etc.
Any ideas??

Thanks,
Johnathan
