Outlook still not responding
I have uninstalled and re-installed twice now and outlook stills hangs on
anything email related. Based on suggestions here about a corrupted file I have been using the blank .pst file generated by the re-install. STILL MESSED UP!! Info: XP pro, latest updates, Office sml bus 2007. I noticed that my email accounts where still set-up on the re-install. Do I need to delete some other files when un-installing?? This is a busniness computer and this problem is really putting a hurt to me. Do I need a third party repair utility? Is this a Microsoft issue? Very frustrating!! Thanks. |

Any error messages and/or numbers on send/receive? What happens when you
send/receive? What type of mail account is it? Have you checked the Application Event Viewer for Office-related errors? Have you tried creating a new Outlook profile? If you use a PST, have you checked it for errors? -- Kathleen Orland - MVP Outlook Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "Pete Beau" wrote: I have uninstalled and re-installed twice now and outlook stills hangs on anything email related. Outlook still not responding
A computer admin. friend recommended uninstalling a latest XP update. So far
that has worked. I will hold back complaints until I verify for a longer time period if this has worked. Also, I could not hit my home office network and now I can.
