Default Outlined number

1. I want to create out lined number style that will use the previous level
as the inirial number and then the second level. As an example: the prebious
level starts with "1". the next level will be 1.01, 1.02, etc. I could make
this. Once it reaches 1.10, it comes out as 1.010, 1.011, etc. I want to get
rid this "0" at this stage. Can this be done? If I take the "0" out at the
double digit stage - it takes the "0" out of the previous paragraphs.

2. Is it possible to import a style that I have used in one document and to
be use in another document without going thru the creation of the style
again. WP allows the importation of the style. Can it be done in Word? I use
Word exculsively. Most of the times I have to reformat my specification
matching the client I serve. It is very time cosuming to create a style and
go through paragraph by paragraph for the conversion.

I found the answers using Words help function.

I'm assuming that you are using Headings to control your outline
numbering, though this will work for simple list numbering.
1) Go into Format Bullets and Numbering, and the Outline Numbered
tab.
2) Select the numbering form that you want to use and then click the
Customize button
3) Select Level 2
4) In the Number Style dropdown, select "01, 02, 03, ..."
5) OK
You should now get the outline numbering style that you want.

Copy styles to another document or template

1) On the Tools menu, click Templates and Add-Ins.

2) Click Organizer, and then click the Styles tab.

3) To copy items to or from a different template or file, click Close
File to close the active document and its attached template or to
close the Normal template. Then click Open File, and open the template
or file you want.

4) Click the items you want to copy in either list, and then click
Copy.
