Default Catalog Pages Hyperlink

Hi There, new here in this forum with a specific question for a Publisher Catalog.

I have a Catalog page connected with my excel file, everything is OK and working fine, fields, images, etc. But in my excel file I have some columns that are hyperlinks, for some reason when I complete the merge process I can get the fields but they are not a clickable links. So I need to copy and paste in my browser and that is not the idea.

Could somebody point me in the right direction, I would like to have either :
1. The field be a hyperlink clickable once is exported to PDF or
2. Have a box / picture / shape etc that represents the hyperlink instead of the whole URL and be clickable also.

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Regards,

Try producing the pdf using the built in pdf tool in Publisher. I think it is File Export.

The links are supposed to survive the conversion to pdf and I would have thought they would survive Acrobat producing the pdf
