Default 2007: Page break indicator missing

In Word 2000, hard (manual) page breaks were shown (in layout view) by
a dashed line with Page Break in the center:

---------------- Page Break ---------------

In 2007, this is missing in Draft view. If I press Ctrl+Enter, I get a
page break, but it is displayed as just a blank line.

What setting do I need to change to get the page breaks to be shown as
in 2000?

I have no problem seeing the Page Break as illustrated but only when the
ShowAll command is toggled on. My recollection is that this was the same in
previous versions - but then I rarely use other than Print Layout view so I
may be mistaken.

However, I have noticed a bug with Line Feeds not displaying when using
White Text on a Blue Background in W2007!

Unfortunately, in order to see page breaks (of any kind) in Draft view in
Word 2007, I believe you have to toggle Show/Hide ¶.
