Calendar should allow scheduling appointments in any time zone
I travel a lot. It would be very convenient if the scheduler would allow me
to set appointment times in any time zone I wish without having to change the time zone I am currently in. For example, I want to schedule a meeting at 2pm in San Jose, Ca, while I am at my office in Chicago, IL. It would be handy if scheduler had a pull down to select time zone (with a default of the current zone) for the appointment. Presently it seems there are two rather awkward ways to do this: First, I can do the mental math and add 2 hours to the time I set the appt in Chicago, so when I change my time zone when I get to CA the appt time will change to the correct time, or, I can set the time zone on my PC whiel I am in Chicago to CA time and set the appts in CA time. Then remember to change back the current time to the actual time. A pull down menu to specify the time zone of the particular appt would be very helpful and would eliminate the mistake prone methods described above.
