Flashing RED before renewal date
Excel doesn't have a built-in 'blink' feature, and most people consider
blinking cells annoying and there are even risks of blinking at some rates causing seizures in people susceptible to them. But if you just must, then see this page: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/BlinkingText.aspx But you can use Conditional Formatting, and choose 'Formula is" with this formula for a date cell to highlight the cell when (in this example) then date is less than 30 days from the current system date (assuming F2 has the date, and formula is in F2): =IF(F2-Now())30 and set the format such as red cell or bold red text. It will remain red until a date is set that is more than 30 days ahead of current system date is entered. You can select all of the cells with dates in them and format at once, just enter the formula using the address of the first cell in the list. Later on, you can simply drag/fill the format on down the sheet or use the format painter. "vinu" wrote: Hi, I have some vehicle data that we update time to time.
