Default How do I reactivate Office XP after reinstallation on a new PC?

Trying to reactivate via internet brings a message that my copy is already
installed on another PC. Yes, it was, but that one died and I'm now
reinstalling all the apps on a new one. How do I get round this brick wall?
I've paid for the damn thing, and now I apparently can't use it. Color me
unimpressed.

Use the telephone number that shows on screen when you select
the manual/telephone activation option

Use the telephone method for activation.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, mmr12097 asked:
