Default problem installing office 2007 professional

I am trying to install a brand new copy of Office professional 2007 on a new
HP 64-bit computer using vista.

I get the following error message after autorun is triggered: The
application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000018).Click ok to
terminatethe application.

When i use explorer after making all hidden files visible, and find the
setup file and launch it, the dvd with office is acessed but nothing happened.

Is there a solution for this problem.

Prior to trying did you update Vista?
Did you uninstall any trial version of office, together with any activation
assistant & reboot?
Is the trial version of any Internet Security / AV application updated?
Did you then try disabling said IS / AV app?
