Hey guys!!! I'm trying to share one calender among five
assistances. They all have outlook 2003. From what I have
been researching the ways to do this is using exchange.
The problem is that my client will only have five
machines in total. so my concerns are . Will this
function with only one server(small business server
2003). What about activedirectory. Does exchange actually
need it. and if so does'nt activeD need two servers.

Small Business Server 2003 is designed to run on a single server. It
includes AD, which Exchange requires, as well as Exchange. It will do what
you need.
