Default Trying to set up Gmail on Outlook.

I have two computers and one works without a problem (laptop). The setting
match everything on me desktop. But my gmail messages aren't sending and
recieving on my desktop. I think this means that my settings are correct on
my gmail account. But I must have something wrong in the way I have my
Outlook setting set. When I run the Outloot test, it says I successfully
created the POP account in Outlook.

Any suggestions?

Gmail can be peculiar in that if you get messages with one mail client, the
server will mark the messages as read and tell a second mail client that
there are no new messages to download. You have to configure gmail to
always download POP mail.
