Default Get rid of margin lines in print layout?

I'm suddenly seeing those "L's" in the corners of the
page that show where the margins are. I don't know how to
get rid of them. I've been through all the tabs in the
options panel. Help?

These mean that you have support for East-Asian languages installed (I
think).

If you expand the original thread, you will see a response to Jessica's
question.

If you don't expand the thread you won't see either this or your post.

Yes, the original question was answered 10 minutes after it was posted.
It was attributed to "Asian language support" being enabled in Windows.

So how do I get rid of the Asian languages? I've
uninstalled them from Windows, but it looks like they're
still available in Word.

You need to uninstall them from Word. Again, this is speculation since I've
never installed them. Just my recollections from other postings on these
boards.
