I know that this may not fit the Office forum, but the people in this discussion group have been incredibly helpful to me, so I thought I'd give this a shot...
I am having what I thought to be quite a simple problem when using my Internet Explorer. When surfing the web, any hyperlinks that I click on which are designed to redirect the page that I am viewing work perfectly fine. However, when I click on ANY hyperlink intended to display the page in a new window, nothing happens. I don't get an error message, and the flag in the top right corner doesn't move. Nothing happens, even if I right-click on the link and attempt to manually open the item in a new window. An example is this "New Thread" window, which I was not able to pull up on my own computer (and, hence, had to write this from a coworker's computer). I tried lowering the security settings, but that did not work. I also had a member of our IT department look at it. He told me that there was no way of fixing the problem without reinstalling windows. I find this very hard to believe, so I thought I would appeal to the members of this discussion group to see if there were any other ideas, or if anyone else has experienced this problem. Thanks in advance for the help! Joe |

Try holding down the CTRL key while clicking on the
link. For most pop-up blockers (if you do actually have one installed) this wil override the pop-up blocking software. Hope this helps -----Original Message----- "Doug G" wrote Joe wrote: I know that this may not fit the Office forum, but the people in this discussion group have been incredibly helpful to me, so I thought I'd give this a shot...
