Retaining formatting on a single line after entering data in field
I want to creat a form. The top line has the following:
Amount TEXT DATE Amount = A field (numeric) that is linked to other fields in the form. I want this justified left on the line. TEXT = Equals a fixed text I would want centered no matter how many digits are in the Amount field on the left. I would like the "DATE" field (which is linked to another field in the document) to be justified to the right. How can I create a form where entering 7 or 8 digits instead of 5 or 6 in the "amount" field won't alter the formatting of "text" or "date"? I should mention I have only been using Word for a few weeks! Have been using an old DOS WP up to now for 15+ years. Thanks. ....mike (pardon if this is a duplicate. My screen went blank shen i hit the post button the first time.) |
