combobox display item when not in list
Hi all,
I have an application where combo boxes are filtered by groups (I have a Group table and also a Level table). I also have a check box (yes/no field) for Shared Project. For shared projects I need to display the item that is in the combobox field. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Nick |

combobox display item when not in list
Hi Nick,
you can use an unbound textbox. Set its Control Source to =[NameOfCombo].Column(1) to get the name displayed in the combo if the combo's first column is hidden. Combos columns start numbering at 0. The first column is Column(0), the second column is Column(1) and so on.
