Default Spelling

Hello,

I work for Islandnet, an ISP on Vancouver Island and I have a customer who
uses OE V6 (latest level) and the Spelling function in Outlook Express quit
on her and after being on the phone with Dell for 2 hours who in the end
suggested a 30 day trial download of some software she gave up and asked me.

I checked my usual sources like insideoe.com (strangely lacking in this
area) and found nothing but I did see the suggestion to post in this newsie
so here I am.

I had her go in Tools,Options,Spelling tab and take a look at the dictionary
she was using and she had English(American), being in Canada I told her to
use English(Canada) but it was not in her list of dictionaries.

Update: I thought before I post this I should at least try Google and I
found out how to fix it he

Anyone vouch for these recommended solutions in repairing the Spelling
function

Thanks,
Rob Turner )

The /usual/ fixes.

Spell Checking does not work in OE:

And: An error occurred while the spelling was being checked or: Spell Check
was halted:
