Minimised window
Whenever I open a post in my Outlook Express on my new computer it is a
minimised window. Obviously I maximise it but I would have expected from then on any new post I open would then be maximised but it is not. I have searched in the Tools Options etc and can't find a way to get my posts to always open in a maximised state. When I click Create new post I also get a minimised window. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to put up with it. I am running XP Professional. Thanks |

Thanks Open ONE new messageresize it to what you want, by dragging the edges with your mouseclose it with the X, next time you open it will be has you just closed it, this works with all windows, Windows remembers the size it was last closed. -- Regards Steve. Minimised window
For each small window, first, *close all other windows*. Now, grab the
corners of the window and drag it to full screen size. Close the window using File | Close, or File | Exit depending what program you're in. Windows will remember the last screen size used the next time you open the program. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Rochelle" wrote in message ... Open ONLY ONE message, when it minimizes to the task bar select its buttonright clickselect moveuse your keyboard arrows to get the window into the main part of your screenclick to release itnow resize and position it where you want it to open with your mouse. Close that window. Next time it will open as you just closed it. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] |
