but it would be more logical to have an ie7 group
instead of mixing them all together

Perhaps it would be more logical, and I wouldn't doubt you will see that
someday, especially after Vista is released, but you have to remember three
things.

1: You're dealing with MS here. eg

2: IE General covers all versions of IE just as OE General covers all
versions of OE

3: You're asking this in the Outlook Express 6 newsgroup. Just because you
use OE as your newsreader, it doesn't mean that we have the answers for
other newsgroups you access using OE.

The IE Team has assured us that an English language, IE7-specific newsgroup
will be offered soon. Then we'll just need a Vista-specific IE7 newsgroup.
