Default Deleting or adding sound files

I would like to replace some sound files linked to powerpoint presentations.
The help files always tell me to click on the speaker icon to delete dound
files and to add new ones. HELP does NOT address how to do this if there is
NO SPEAKER ICON in the "normal" view.

Perhaps the sound is part of the Transition. Open your Transition Task Pane
to see if the sound is there...

Default Deleting or adding sound files

Hi Wholetooth,

In PowerPoint 2002 to delete a sound file, I open the presentation as a
..ppt, click SLIDESHOW | CUSTOM ANIMATION | right click name of sound file |
in drop-down menu click REMOVE.

If this sounds too easy, I guess it doesn't apply in your case......... If
so, my apologies!
