Default split form: account balance

Hey,
Im trying to make an bank account record, and want to add a balance column at
the end of each row of data entered. i have a split form at the moment, with
and entry form up the top and then the datasheet down the bottom, im trying
to make it so the column shows up on the datasheet and also in a box up in
the entry form.
any help much appreciated
thanks

I won't see it for another 2/3 hours though.
