Default Microsoft Office 2003 - Shortcut Bar?

I work for a not-so-small software company. Our technology
group loaded Office 2003 on my desktop to satisfy a need
for another application that is included in the 2003
office suite.

My question: How can I get the Microsoft Office Shortcut
bar up and running in Office 2003?

I use the shortcut bar to neatly contain more than two
dozen icons to launch applications regularly used, that
would otherwise be strewn all over my desk top. That's
unacceptable, functionally bad, and just plain looks like
hell.

Can you help?

Chris,
The shortcut bar is not included in Office 2003. You can do a custom install from Office XP and just install the toolbar.
Or search the Office groups for alternatives/3rd party addins. You should get a wide range of results.

I was told by Microsoft Tech Support that they did not
put the shortcut bar back into the 03 version. Reason,
They put an New Office Document Icon in the Start, All
Programs Menu.
