Can I share OE contacts between 2 computers?
I have 2 users woh need to share the same contacts, but not the same inbox
and outbox, etc. The contacts would be stored on a file server. Is there any way to do this? |

Here's a simple way to do it that works fairly well. Create a single Yahoo
mail account for both users to share, and use Yahoo's Intellisync application (http://help.yahoo.com/help/intsync/) to keep their address books synchronized. You can put a shortcut to the Intellisync executable in their startup folders so they'll be reminded to synchronize address books every time they log on. You might also find that the Yahoo account's calendar is useful for coordination purposes. Cole Brecheen http://www.havetheyreadityet.com |

Easiest is to create a "standalone" WAB file for each of them to use. To
read about using standalone WAB files, see this link: http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/files/wab.htm#wabexe -- Jim Pickering, MVP-Outlook Express Please reply only to newsgroup.
