I have contact MS and the techs at sbcglobal and still get the message
"The host'pop.sbcglobal.yahh.net could not be found. Please verify
that you have entered the server correctly Protocol pop3, port 100,
ssl: no
Socket error 110004
0x800ccc0d In try to resolve this issue, I found in the connection
window an old telephone # I am wondering if this could be the problem?
As you can see I need help. If the number is the problem how do I
change it?
Thanks in advance,
Dawn

Control PanelInternet OptionsConnections Tab. Make the appropriate
changes. If dial-up is no longer used, check: Never dial a
connection.

However, that error message usually is solved by the following:

Error 0x800ccc0d or 0x800ccc0f when Receiving and Sending E-Mail
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813514

Turn off the e-mail scanning in your anti-virus.
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...921552806?Open

You are still protected:

If you have Norton Anti-Spam, that can also be the cause of the
error.

Check your ISP's support page for the correct POP3 settings. 'pop.sbcglobal.yahh.net' is not correct.
