Can't see backgrounds on mail

New PC problems

I have problems with Internet Explorer 6 not showing backgrounds on web
pages and not having any success in curing it no matter what I do.

I have now realised that this also seems to be effecting HTML mail on OE
6 - picture backgrounds and stationery do not display.

If I try to use formating the file size seems to increase which tends to
imply that formating is being applied to the actual message although I can't
see it -

Any ideas ???

Try clearing your Temporary Internet Files in IE and delete all offline =
content.

You might also check the registry associations for the image file types. =
