file keeps getting bigger and bigger
I had a 2mb file. I added a 300k picture.
I just saved the file, now it is 6mb! this doesnt make sense. wasnt doing this til recently. have installed the latest updates. any recommendations?

If you're running 2000 it makes perfect sense. You inserted a JPEG (a compressed format) and 2000 doesn't support compressed pictures. When you save it it decompresses it. The only solution is to upgrade to 2002 or 2003, depending on your OS.
