I want to create some invitations using the same
background as my slide presentation. I am using slide
master fireball in powerpoint. I cannot copy this master
or find it to create it in publisher. Can anyone help?

Just guessing cause I don't create with PowerPoint much...

Maybe have the background open and full screen in PowerPoint.
Hit the "print screen" button.
Paste into your favorite graphics program for saving and using in Pub,
or paste directly into Publisher?

Low-tech solutions!

But I may be wrong

Lainey,

Although I don't use PowerPoint, I do have it. You are welcome to send
whatever file you have to me and I'll see if I can't do something with it.
No promises but I am willing to try.

I was able to find a solution. Save a blank PowerPoint slide with the
fireball background as a .jpg. Insert that .jpg file into your Publisher
document.

(I'm using PP2003 and Pub 2003 so your experience may not be the same as
mine if you are using something else.)

Have you tried going to View Master Slide Master, the selecting all,
copying and pasting into Publisher?
That worked for me using the Fireworks template (I couldn't find the
Fireball template)
Once that's done, you just have to delete the "Click Here" text boxes

I found Fireball in the online gallery. It's from PowerPoint 97 which is why
I told him his experience may differ from mine.
