Default Powerpoint mouse over

I know i should be able to this but duh...for instance, in a powerpoint show i have a word 'quantitative' which i want to hover the mouse over that word and a box appears underneath with a dictionary explanation of the word. BTW i know i will have to write an explanation myself, just cant remember how to get box up. Tks in advance Jed
