In Office 2007 (and you didn't tell us your version) do Office Button-Word Options-Proofing-Autocorrect Options, click on the Autoformat as you type tab and uncheck the Hyperlink option... |

I am using Office 2000. I have unchecked the hyperlink button in Word. That is working fine. The problem really is in Excel. How do I uncheck that option in Excel Office 2000? |
