Missing CAB file
I recently uninstalled a trial version of Office 2007, that my wife needed
for a class. Somehow, the process removed something essential for my Office 2003 to run. Everytime I start 2003, the installer window appears, but nothing else ever happens. I did go into windows and restore my settings to a date prior to the install, but nothing happened. So, I've tried to reinstall 2003, but an error message comes up saying the required installation file ZF561407.CAB is missing. I can't find this file anywhere, including the original CD. Does anyone know where to find or download this file?

Thank you Beth! Yes, it is an OEM installation on a Toshiba laptop. I'm going

Well, it didn't work. I gave it a try, but the same message apeared. Do you
think I might need to uninstall and reinstall Office all together? I have backed up all my files and Outlook contacts, so I don't think I'll loose anything. Missing CAB file
It should work since the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility removes the
installation instructions for "where to find the installation files". After you removed the reference to Office 2003 did you insert your installation CD and run Setup.exe?
