Another poster had this problem with McAfee, this was her solution:
1) Choose the "VirusScan options" by right-clicking on your lower right McAfee icon in the task bar [usually across the bottom of your screen] --Do NOT go through McAfee's Security Center, as it will direct you to an entirely different set of help files. 2) Click on the Help files (little blue question in upper right of the window), and when that opens, it will probably default to be showing the "index" tab listing--if not; choose the Index tab. 3) type in the search bar: security settings, internet explorer 4) hit the "display" button toward the bottom of that window, to open that particular help file, and 5) you will find further instructions on the Internet Explorer 5.x or IE 6.x, for changing the security settings It's a good idea to close all your programs, shut down the computer and then start it back up again, before trying. I would even suggest emptying the Temporary Internet files, as well, including any cookies. Start with as "clean a slate" as possible, in other words. I hope it works for you! It appears McAfee has the same "script blocking" as Norton, but it is harder to find. -- Mary Sauer MS MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "C Walshaw" C wrote in message ...
