Default new owner registration

I am giving my Office 2003 to a friend of mine, and need to know if he can
register it under his name and such. I dont remember if I actually
registered it or not.

Default new owner registration

Its not Registration as such, its activation. Registration is optional.
I trust you didnt use it for an upgrade, if you did you still need to retain
the cds as they form part of your licence for your upgrade version.

Will he be able to activate it? Or is that somethign I need to call the 800
number for?

They can activate it, online or via phone if required
