MS.Excel vs Works Spreadsheet
I am confused, why does Microsoft have two excatly alike
products on the market? Office XP and Ms. Works? Works is is around $50 and MS Office XP sells for over $400? is this the same product, just marketed different? Why pay the extra $350 when with both packages you get a word processor, spreadsheet and a database? Please Advise, Excel Guru |

I am confused, why does Microsoft have two excatly alike
products on the market? Office XP and Ms. Works? Office XP and MS Works are hardly exactly alike. Office has vastly more features and tools. Your question is like asking why GM sells a Geo Metro and a Hummer. Sure, they both have four tires and a steering wheel, but that doesn't make them the same vehicle. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel www.cpearson.com "Excel Gure" wrote in message ...
