Default Is it possible to 'lock' an object/group of objects in Pub 2007?

Now, it's a very long time since I used 2003 (and earlier) but I could have
sworn that it was possible to 'lock down' an object, or group of objects so
that you didn't accidentally move them whilst you were working on something
else (and I'm pretty - 90% - certain that there was a way to do it *without*
invoking a master page).

Is it possible - or am I dreaming?

If not, it damned well should be! I cannot believe that such a feature isn't
available - it would make my card designing so much easier and hassle-free!

Cheers

You can group them together and lock them, I don't think you can lock them
to the page though.
After selecting all the elements you want to group you'll see the group lock
"thingie" appear at the bottom of the selection, click on it and they are
locked.

But they are still movable... The only way to 'lock' objects is to put them on
the master page.
