visio 2007 multiple shapes and organization charts
Hello
I'm using visio for a long time, but this is my first time trying to create an organization chart in visio 2007 (it worked perfectly on 2003). For some reason the shapes I drag on top of each other don't connect, and when i drag a multiple shape, it doesn't ask me how many shapes to create and what is their hierarchy. I tried with the autoconnect feature both on and off, but the simple drag on shape refuses to work. Is there a setting I missed? With thanks |

sounds like one of the security things (i.e. code execution), you might
check out the tools=trust center (I apologize for not remembering which one). al "kori" wrote in message ... visio 2007 multiple shapes and organization charts
Hello Kori
Did you happen to change any of the setting for Visio? From what you describe it sounds like automated events has been disabled or is not function properly. If you start Visio; go to Tools Options Advanced and verify the “Enable Automation events” box is checked. If this option is checked there could be something preventing Visio from function properly. You could see if a repair of Visio addresses the issue. Make sure you have administrative rights and close down any non essential applications running on the computer before you attempt the repair. Don't know if it moved for V2007, but the Automation Events check box is
under Security tab not Advanced, for V2003. Wapperdude "James W." wrote: Hello Kori Did you happen to change any of the setting for Visio?
