Is "OR" operator allowed in Excel conditional formatting? If so is there

Your using the wrong syntax, this will work as a CF =OR(TRIM(K3)="PENDING",TRIM(K3)="INACTIVE") -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question.
