Default spaces between lines in printed doc only

In my Word 2007 document, I get blank spaces between some of the lines on the
printed document but on on the computer. None of the text is omitted, it's
just that the printed copy has gaps. How do I line up the page so my printed
copy has no gaps?

Usually Microsoft documents remain error. I think the only possibility to
recover corrupted word file
for example
is with some programs that are on the web as WordFIX.

It seems much more likely to me to be a printer feed error than a corrupted
Word document, especially if it looks correct in Print Preview.

Will you tell me how to fix a 'printer feed error'? I think that this may be
the problem because the document looks fine on the computer page. Thank you
so much for your help.

You'll have to contact the printer manufacturer (or that mfr's online forum)
for advice about this. You might try a different kind of paper to see if
that makes a difference. FWIW, the moisture content of the paper (too damp
OR too dry) can affect paper feed. In this case, however, it's more likely
that the rubber print feed rollers need to be replaced.

To rule out (or in) a printer feed error, I suggest that you convert your
document to PDF and then try to print the PDF file. If the PDF also prints
with weird line spacing, then it's the printer's problem. If the PDF prints
ok, then you have a workaround for the time being.. and it would also
indicate that there is a problem in outputting from Word to your printer.
Unfortunately I don't know how to resolve that - you would need to enquire of
your printer supplier if perhaps there is new firmware or new drivers
available for your model of printer.

If you don't already have software to generate PDFs, you can download some
free online. I have used PrimoPDF (freeware) in the past. Now I use Adobe
Acrobat. Best of luck!
