Default 2007 office professional academic

I purchased a new PC with a trail version of office professional 2007. I am
trying to convert it to a of 207 office professional Academic version. After
I key in the product key I get an error message saying the product key is
invalid. Am I doing something wrong?

Delete both versions, install the paid version.

Yes, you may loose BCM database
backup BCM database and then proceed
