I have saved several aerial photo's using Microsoft Draw which has a file extension .mix. Recently IT installed Publisher 2003, how do I get into these files to edit?

Hi LeeQue ),

Lee, are you talking about Microsoft PhotoDraw? (which uses *.mix files)? If
so, you need to continue to use Microsoft PhotoDraw to edit these photos.
Publisher is not a photo editing program. I recommend letting the IT
department know that you still need your drawing program installed as well.

However, you can insert mix files into Publisher, but you really can't edit
them (less some basic coloring, etc.)

Sometimes you can drag .mix files into Word... Older versions of PictureIt! will open
..mix files.

I'm thinking your best bet would be to reopen the
files in PhotoDraw and save them in a more universal
format...jpg, .png, .tif...

A small child turns to Ed, and exclaims: "Look! Look! A post from John
Inzer !"...

But that, of course, would make them non-editable.

Not if you keep the originals.

I bought a dog the other day...I named him Stay. It's fun to call
him... "Come here, Stay! Come here, Stay!" He went insane. Now he
just ignores me and keeps typing.

But he did say "How do you get them into Publisher to edit" (OWTTE)

I interpreted the WTTE differently to you.

All the plants in my house are dead; I shot them last night. I was
teasing them by watering them with ice cubes.
