2007 Office Enterprise Repair 2203 Error

While trying to repair a Microsoft Office Enterprise Edition sub app
(Document Scanning & Imaging) through the Control Panel "Change" Applications
Method, I encountered the following error:
Error 2203: An Internal error has occured...
I need step by step help with executing the solution to my problem contained
in kb/324852 which states:
"To resolve this behavior, grant the System account Full Control permissions
to the folder that contains the administrative installation point..."
WHAT? How do I do that?

For Office Enterprise issues see the following. Support on this version is only
available from MS or your IT Department and we cannot help you here with the Office
Enterprise version.

Sorry but we do not know if it is Pirated or not. You should have gotten these
instructions as above on your Home Program purchase from your Company
