I have just installed Outlook 2007 and am attempting to publish my
calendar
using my live account. I am receiving the message: "An error has
occurred.
Your registration information was not successfully submitted to Office
Online. Please try again later." I have tried multiple times to no
avail.
I registered using the same account (my hotmail address).

It's working for me now, so apparently it was fixed.

Make sure you are logged in using the correct passport/live id before you
try to publish.

Default Registration Failed when attempting to publish calendar

I received the same descriptive error message. Did you ever figure out how
to resolve it? Thanks.

Well, I got further. Managed to publish the calendar. But now when I try to
send the E-Mail message to invite people to my calendar I get:

"Error while preparing to send sharing message. Server returned an error."

I love these descriptive messages. Still seems like an issue with the
microsoft server.

Good News! My problem seems to have self-resolved...I got beyond the error

all try again. Good Luck!

And what I forgot to mention earlier is that i can also not access the
"calender management" option in "my office online". My computer tells me to
change the calender account but the account dissappeared from my "published
calenders" list.

it usually just goes away on its own. You can try logging out of the
passport/live services and if you save the password for autologins, delete
it - saving the password sometimes causes issues.
