auto correct using an accent
I have Office 2003 (student/teacher) and I am trying to set my auto correct
so that when I type my name it will auto correct with the accent over the `e. I can't seem to get it to work properly. I can get it to work in Word if I press ALT+`+e, but when I try to set it in auto correct the accent just won't go over the letter (see above....couldn't get it to work in this e-mail either). Does anyone know how I can't get the accent when I am setting the auto correct? Thanks |

Copy it from your word doc into AutoCorrect rather than typing it directly
in AutoCorrect. That should work, I've got a lot of those. Thanks Daiya but when I tried to copy and paste it wouldn't let me paste....?
I just want it to auto correct when I type my name so it would change it by adding the accent to the e......rather than pressing three keys at the same time. Any other suggestions?
