Problem with Mail Merge Office 97 vs Office 2000
Hi,
I have a word document which uses a small txt file for Mail Merge, which worked just fine under Word 97. I upgraded to Word 2000 and the Mail Merge fails. I opened the txt file (to be merged) and I saved it as a UTF-8 file. and the problem was partialy fixed. I the Word document I have a table with merged data, the result merged file was a table with shiftted lines, i.e: I.D Name 122 233 Joe Koker Martin Doe Thank You Aylon. |

Problem with Mail Merge Office 97 vs Office 2000
Hi Aylon,
Could you copy/paste the corresponding part of the text file into a reply, please, so that we can see how it's constructed. And is the main merge document a real TABLE, or a table created by using TABs for each column? I'm just wondering how you get the ID and Name at the top of the columns...
