Greyed out items - explanations please?
I have frequently gone to click an item and its been greyed out for no
apparent reason. Can we please have a "hover over" device that explains (in plain English, not programmers jargon) why an item is greyed out and/or what the conditions must be for the item to be available? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. "Can we please have a "hover over" device that explains (in plain English, not programmers jargon) why an item is greyed out and/or what the conditions must be for the item to be available?" This forum has no connection with Microsoft so why are you posting a request for an Office feature here? Tell them, not us! |

pip22,
Who the dickens is ..."us" and where is ..."here"?? I have no idea who you are or how you came into this thread, but you have posted your reply in Microsoft.com/office/community etc etc (where, incidentally, I used the New/Suggestion for Microsoft" button. What did you use?). Given that my suggestion, if accepted will assist you (if you do use Microsoft Office) as well as just about every other Office user, why don't you simply hit "agree"?
