Inserting a Word document into a presentation
I have a PowerPoint presentation and somebody has sent me a Word document
containing an organisation chart that needs to be included in the presentation. I have tried copy/paste into a slide but it doesn't paste properly. Is there any other way of importing this information, without re-creating the chart? Any urgent help would be appreciated. Thank you. Louise |

Inserting a Word document into a presentation
Since this is urgent, I'll give it a stab, but this is not my area of
expertise. I'm sure someone else will come along eventually with a better solution. If I couldn't get the chart into PPT directly, I would try converting it to some form of picture. In the worst case, you could take a screen shot of the screen while looking at the chart. However, you should be able to save it as a picture (such as JPG) directly from Word. Then you can just insert the picture from a file. This won't give you the ability to edit the chart within PowerPoint, but it will get into the presentation. --David -- David Marcovitz Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Author of _Powerful PowerPoint for Educators_ http://www.PowerfulPowerPoint.com/ In article , Louise wrote: I have a PowerPoint presentation and somebody has sent me a Word document containing an organisation chart that needs to be included in the presentation. Or a slightly different approach: Select and copy the chart then switch to PPT, choose Paste Special and experiment with the different options. ============================== PPT Frequently Asked Questions http://www.pptfaq.com/ PPTools add-ins for PowerPoint http://www.pptools.com/ |
