Accessing Shared Contacts in E-mail Addressbook
We started a shared "master contact" listing by
establishing our receptionist as the "master" list and allowing shared rights to our users. Users are able to edit and share maintenace of these contacts through the Outlook contact functions. BUT we cannot access the list from e-mail when starting a new message. How do you get a shared contact list to appear in the address book list options in e-mail? We have tried to make it a public folder but that doesn't seem to be working. |

Accessing Shared Contacts in E-mail Addressbook
A public folder would be the best solution. What isn't working?

if you go to ViewFolder List and then right-click on
your contact list that you want to share and go to properties. Then go to Outlook Address Book and check the "show this folder as an email address book" and then click okay. You'll need to do this at each PC. -----Original Message----- We started a shared "master contact" listing by establishing our receptionist as the "master" list and allowing shared rights to our users.
