MS Word 2000 Page X of Y Auto Text function
On any document old or new, if I manually or automatically insert a page
number that shows current page and total number of pages, the document shows correctly this information for each page onscreen, but prints like Page X of X rather than Page X of Y, so that on a 3 page document, for example, the second page header prints as Page 2 of 2 and the third page as 3 of 3, etc. rather than 2 of 3 and 3 of 3. I reinstalled the software with no fix. Is this a common bug? How to get around it? Very frustrating. Jaxon |

Hmm, that sounds verrrry familiar! I -think- I reinstalled
the printer drivers, not sure. Worth a try at least. "Jaxon Bridge" wrote in message ... See the article "Page X of Y displays or prints as Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2
etc." at: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/PageXofY.htm -- Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis. Hope this helps Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Jaxon Bridge" wrote in message ...
