Have you created a Publisher list? Where is your data source? What exactly are
you trying to do? -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Sammc2" wrote in message ... publisher 2000 under mail merge open data source. only create publisher address list or edit publisher address list. all other commands are greyed out and unavailable. no ... I want to use a works list and yes I have one already done.
I can't seem to get the publisher program to let me get to the works list that I want to use. open document is greyed out and so I can't get there. What version Publisher are you using? It really doesn't matter, you can browse
to a Works data file in most versions. In 2000 and below, Mail Merge, Open data source, expand files of types and scroll down to Works. Newer versions, Tools, Open data source, same as above. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Sammc2" wrote in message ... no ...
