Disappearing Data Labels
Hello All,
My firm recently updated to Office 2003 from Office 2000. I frequently produce graphs in which the y-axis scale is relative to the majority of data points with one or two data points which lay outside this range running to the top of the graph with the data label value displayed. Since the upgrade to 2003 the labels become invisible for any points outside the scale. I read the following knowledge base article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;811161#appliesto entitled Data Labels Disappear If Value Is Greater Than Axis Maximum but it says it applies to Excel 2002 in Office XP. I haven't found any information about this problem in Excel 2003. Does anybody know what the story is with this? |

The registry fix described in the MSKB article also works for Excel
2003, if you change the version number in the key. Instead of: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\E xcel\Options use: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\E xcel\Options Erin wrote: My firm recently updated to Office 2003 from Office 2000.
